Community Safety

It's for good reason that Maine is called "Vacationland." The state in general — and southern Maine coast in particular — offer the sort of welcoming, safe atmosphere that is ideal for family vacations.

Most of É«ÏãÊÓƵ's undergraduate programs are located on our waterfront Biddeford Campus, which is nestled next to several small summer beach communities. The Biddeford Campus is also part of the Portland metropolitan area, which was ranked among the top 20 small metros for college students by the American Institute for Economic Research.

Our top priority is the well-being of our students. We continually evaluate current programs as well as review, develop, and implement new policies, protocol, staffing, and technologies to enhance the safety of University members.

For more information on the proactive programs and processes, we have in place to improve the safety of É«ÏãÊÓƵ community members, visit the Office of Safety and Security website. You can also view the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report (PDF) to compare É«ÏãÊÓƵ to other colleges and universities.
