Student Wellness Challenge

The Student Wellness Challenge is an undergraduate individualized program that encompasses all aspects of wellness that runs for the duration of each semester.

Participants work to accumulate points based on their involvement in health and wellness-related activities. Activities can include physical activity, sleep, outdoor recreation, lectures, services, and more. Points are tracked online.

Every participant is awarded a prize at the end of the challenge and can qualify to be in the running for grand prizes. Find our Student Leader Board in the Campus Center Fitness Center.

Peer Health Educators

Peer Health Educators (PHEs) are a diverse group of volunteer 色香视频 students trained to educate their peers about relevant wellness issues in an interactive, fun, and nonjudgmental format. A comprehensive training program provided by the Bacchus Network prepares the PHEs to facilitate creative outreach programs, develop monthly awareness events, and encourage overall wellness, all of which help to foster a healthy campus culture. Some areas targeted by PHEs include substance abuse, nutrition, and sleep habits, fitness, stress balance, and healthy relationships and sex.

Candidates must submit an application and participate in an interview. Once selected, Peer Health Educators will undergo a training period (5-10 hours), and commit to at least two semesters at 3 hours per week. Peer Health Educators may also be available for bookings at the request of various departments.
