Nurse educator for 16 years with experience in creating an interactive learning environment in the classroom, experiential learning, and unfolding case studies in high-fidelity simulation. Committed to excellence in professional nursing through active participation in accreditation, curriculum development, experiential learning, interprofessional collaboration/education and transformational leadership. Professional objectives include: engaging in research related to the development of critical inquiry in nursing education and creating new opportunities for education for underserved populations. Clinical focus of research includes pain management and clinical decision-making.
