Research

Current research

Shelley Cohen Konrad, PhD., LCSW, FNAP, director of the School of Social Work and the Interprofessional Education Collaborative, along with Elizabeth Crampsey, EdD, MS., OTR/L, BCPR, Kris Hall, MFA, and Kira Rodriguez, MHS have been awarded a mini-grant titled, 鈥淚nterprofessional Education: A 5-year Analysis of its Impact on Workplace Practice.鈥 The collaborative team will conduct an exploratory study that aims to increase understanding of the impact of interprofessional education (IPE) on post-graduation collaborative workplace practice. The study is timely as national trends in IPE turn their focus to the intersection of academic/clinical knowledge and clinical and community impact. The study's goal is to advance knowledge of how IPE influences workplace performance and in what settings it is integrated into quality care improvement.
