Once a first-generation college student, Dr. Eric Drown coaches college students in reading and writing. He is especially interested in helping students navigate the transition from high school to college. Eric has published on pulp and classic science fiction in femspec, Endeavour, and Letterature d'America. He presents research on developmental writing, writing placement, ePortfolios, the role of writing support in first-year writing, and writing fellows. He is the author of Writing College Research Papers. A long-suffering fan of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Eric nevertheless holds out hope that next year is the year. Go Wolves!
