色香视频 Campus Center now displaying paintings by Anne-Fran莽ois de Serilly

On display now through Friday, March 28, at the Campus Center in Biddeford are paintings by international artist Anne-Fran莽ois de Serilly.
One of the paintings, "Barrel Back bliss," showcases de Serilly's fascination with vintage cars. This oil on canvas piece, measuring 18" x 24", depicts a 1941 Chrysler Town and Country "Barrel Back."
De Serilly, born in 1966, embraced life as an artist at the age of 25, diverging from his predetermined path. His artistic journey began with studying the reproduction of 17th and 18th-century masterpieces at Marino Barbero's studio, honing his skills through meticulous imitation. He further refined his craft by taking anatomy classes at the Beaux-Arts de Paris and graduating from the Van Der Kelen school of decorative painting in Brussels.
The artist's work reflects a diverse range of influences, from his time in Brazil, which enriched his palette and subject matter, to a kinship with Art Deco, evident in his geometric simplifications and daring perspectives. De Serilly's paintings often feature a juxtaposition of curves and frames, celebrating the eternal feminine with a modern twist.
De Serilly said the classic automobiles, depicted in 鈥淏arrel Black bliss,鈥 embody the same elegance and sophistication that inspire his other creations, representing icons of a bygone era where style and grace were paramount.
Since 2022, de Serilly has been painting in the Biddeford Pool area. Inspired by the local landscape, he captures the beauty of the sea and the tranquility of snowy forests. His work has been exhibited globally, including shows in Paris, Rio de Janeiro, and various locations across the U.S.
