ɫƵ’s Jennifer Tuttle interviewed in honor of completed term as editor in chief of ‘Legacy’ journal
The University of Nebraska Press published an interview with Jennifer Tuttle, Ph.D., Dorothy M. Healy Professor of Literature and Health and professor of English, on its News from Journals blog. The interview was in honor of Tuttle’s recently completed five-year term as editor in chief of Legacy: A Journal of American Women Writers, a scholarly journal, published by the University of Nebraska Press, which was foundational to the establishment of its field and remains at the forefront of American literary studies.
In the interview, when asked about the most rewarding aspects of her time as editor in chief, Tuttle stated, “…we have explored the ways that the scholarly and pedagogical work of academe might address the myriad structural inequalities about which so many of us are deeply concerned. I have enjoyed having the opportunity to contribute to this work and, since assuming the editorship, having a hand in charting its course.”
