Rebecca Boulos, M.P.H., Ph.D., assistant clinical professor in the School of Community and Population Health; Meredith Milnes, market research analyst, College of Graduate and Professional Studies; and Brooke Burkett, M.S.W., School of Social Work ‘11, graduated from Lift360’s Emerging Leaders program in December 2014.
Emerging Leaders is an innovative three-month program providing leadership development, mentoring, matching and transitioning guidance to participants eager to become more engaged in their communities. Graduates are paired with a successful Maine nonprofit board and/or committee leadership role. Boulos was matched with the , Milnes was matched with and Burkett was matched with .
Lift360 is a new organization formed by the merger of the Institute for Civic Leadership and Common Good Ventures. Its mission is to improve the effectiveness of leaders and organizations in Northern New England communities using a holistic and uniquely immersive process to accomplish both broad and deep impact.
