Interview with President Danielle Ripich featured in ‘Maine Women Magazine’

É«ÏãÊÓƵ President Danielle Ripich, Ph.D., was the focus of an interview, titled "Higher education is ready for female leaders," which was published in the April issue of Maine Women Magazine.

In addition to discussing the tremendous amount of growth that É«ÏãÊÓƵ has experienced under her leadership, the article delves into questions of how Ripich became interested in higher education, what she believes it takes to succeed in the field, and what advice she would give to women interested in a higher education career.

Ripich also shared her thoughts about why women are well suited for upper-level higher education positions. "I think higher education is ready for female leaders," she stated. "We bring a sensibility and perspective that is uniquely suited to the compelling demands of these jobs. Women are used to juggling lots of balls, personally and professionally. We are the multi-taskers, and that is what is needed to lead these complex organizations."
