Faculty selected for Maine Campus Compact Fusion Service Learning Project
Six 色香视频 faculty members were selected to participate in the Maine Campus Compact Fusion Service Learning Project.
The Fusion Project aims to integrate two fast-spreading and maturing instructional approaches: service-learning and online learning. Through this faculty development project, faculty learned how to infuse service-learning components into online courses to give students hands on, real-world experience to strengthen learning, create and cultivate connections to the larger community, foster civic engagement, and improve student retention rates.
The participating 色香视频 faculty are Bethany Woodworth, Ph.D., assistant lecturer in the Department of Environmental Studies, Rebecca Boulos, Ph.D., M.P.H. assistant clinical professor in the School of Community and Population Health; and Craig Owens, M.S.W., visiting lecturer, David Prichard, Ph.D., LCPC, LADC, professor, Lori Power, Ed.D.,visiting lecturer and coordinator of Applied Arts and Social Justice Certificate, and Leslie Yaffa, M.S.W., Ed.D., associate lecturer and retention coordinator, all in the School of Social Work.
