The University of New England has once again been ranked as one of the "Best Universities" in the North that offer "a full range of undergraduate and master's programs" in the 2010 edition of "America's Best Colleges" from U.S. News & World Report.

É«ÏãÊÓƵ was ranked 81st in the top tier of this category, and no other college or university in Maine was ranked higher. This is the seventh year that U.S. News has ranked É«ÏãÊÓƵ a top regional university.

The University of New England  is an independent university with two distinctive campuses on the coast of southern Maine - University Campus in Biddeford and Westbrook College Campus in Portland.
