CECE Event: Social Determinants of Health and Intersections of BLM/LGBTQA
Join facilitator Jennifer Audette and national panelists in Physical Therapy and Public Health from the Regis University, University of Texas at El Paso and University of Louisiana Monroe, as well as É«ÏãÊÓƵ ‘20 alumnae Negeri Clarke MS, PharmD to discuss COVID-19 health-related disparities and underlying structural inequalities that have affected the most vulnerable members of our communities.
This special CECE offering will address the interprofessional competencies of Roles & Responsibilities and Values & Ethics, and can be applied toward students’ IP Honors Distinction Badge.
This collaborative event is part of an ongoing series in partnership with É«ÏãÊÓƵ’s Planetary Health Council. This is one of a six-part series that will continue through fall 2020, and will bridge the impact of COVID to themes on aging/ isolation, emotional resiliency, social determinants of health, and climate change.
